Well Hinda, you are right this phone is no where near the caliber of a nice Nokia or Sony by any means, but as an entry level phone competing with t-mobiles new Nokia 5300 xpress music phone I think this is an interesting contender. I am about to put a post up about this Samsung's bigger brother, the Ultra Video, and to me that is going to be waaaay cooler.

To John: I have had a couple of Samsung phones over the years and have not had a problem with the batteries. Generally a replacement battery isn't very expensive it may have been that you got a bad one. Just a general tip (in case you didn't know) but you should try to avoid charging your cellphone every night. You want to try and get your phone battery all the way to dead (or as close as you can to dead) before recharging to extend the life of your phones battery. Charging your phone when it still has a lot of juice will only lessen your batteries ability to hold a good charge over time. After a year and a half or two you will probably notice that your phone, which used to last 3 days between charges, now only lasts a day at the most. Of course, some phones tend to eat up batteries more than others, my Nokia N80 for example will only last about a day and a half before it goes completely dead. Sometimes only a day if I used it a lot that day, but thats the price you pay for a very Large and Bright screen.

This phone looks very cool...esp. the double sided design. you may show off to your buddies anyway...

But I personally don't like Samsung cell phones that much, biggest prob is the battery, though the screen is of the best level. I'm quite bothered with my first, also last, Samsung phone some years back, when i've to charge it every 1-2 days.
