Well Motorola Continues to evolve its successful RAZR line with the V9, also known as the MOTORAZR2. The phone has been recently launched in Korea for $500+ but to be honest I am not really too excited. I will say that the new phone is a much nicer upgrade but I was bored with the RAZR line 2 years ago and not even a 2 inch external touch screen will make me excited for this so-so phone. Overall the phone is upgraded through and through from its 2.2 inch internal display that has twice the resolution as the original RAZR, 2 mega pixel camera, microSD slot and of course bluetooth. All in all, its still a nice looking phone in a thin shell and if you are looking for a simple upgrade to your worn and tired RAZR then this is definitely a step up but my first opinion is to just keep stepping. Now don’t get confused with the MotoRokr E6, this my friends is the MotoRokr Z6 and although it may share the name of MotoRokr it gets even more confusing because it shares the look/styling of a MotoRizr (are you keeping up with me still?). Alright well in all honesty I think the Moto line of phones could use a new revamp. I do like the new styling cues they have added to update from the original Razr but its time to move forward even more. Anyway, back to the Z6, which according to slashphone.com has received a nice little update that should help with the advanced video and audio features of the phone. Now you can transfer all of your favorite music quickly with USB 2.0 and (get this) Windows Media Player 11.

I didn’t Know people still used windows media player… for anything! Well thats news to me. The drag and drop feature is nice, but I find it strange that it wasn’t built in, I could do that from my Rokr E6 with the usb cord so I wonder why they would be late to getting around to doing this on the Z6?

Hey boys and girls, I have been getting a lot of email requests asking about when the Video review for the E6 will be up. I am getting everything ready tonight and hope to film tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled I should have it up either Monday or Tuesday so if you’re interested check back in a few more days and I will be ready to run through the entire interface and feature set as well as talk about some of the things I liked and did not like about the phone. Since this will be my first FULL video review I am hoping to get a lot of feedback from my readers, feel free to let me know if I REALLY need to run through something or need to emphasis something. I know a lot of people have been asking about text messaging I will definitely run through that. I am thinking to make it easier for people who don’t want to sit through a 20 minute long demo I will break some features up into sections so you can skip to the stuff you care about.

As hype surrounding the upcoming Apple iPhone and LG Prada phone begin to surface, interest in touch screen cellphones is increasing so I went ahead and ordered the Motorola ROKR E6 about a week ago. This is an early demo showing off some of its features, Give me a week or two to really use the phone in and out for about a day and then I will post a FULL detailed review of my thoughts.
